Here’s some video of the Wisconsin fans bouncing around to House of Pain’s “Jump Around” between the third and fourth quarters. It’s a well-known Camp Randall Stadium tradition.

Cal Poly assistant sports information director Eric Burdick appears scared in the video. The press box was actually swaying along with the jumping. I didn’t feel threatened, but then again, I lived in a house on stilts in Cayucos for a year.

This really can’t do justice to how loud the stadium actually got, but I tried to record the crowd on the field at the end of the game to give you an idea of what Cal Poly quarterback Jonathan Dally was up against calling plays in the 36-35 overtime loss to Wisconsin on Saturday.

On the same night the Cal Poly volleyball team took a step back in its quest for a third straight Big West Conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance, the football team moved one step closer to its first postseason berth since 2005.

Great West Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week Jonathan Dally and company made quick work of North Carolina Central in a 49-3 win.

Take a look at our weekly highlight package of the football game.

And let me know what you think of the two teams. Both had high hopes and expectations to start the season. Has either one disappointed?
