Cal Poly football will be televised… kind of

A broadcast of Cal Poly’s football game Saturday at North Dakota is scheduled to appear on Fox College Sports Atlantic at 2 p.m. PST. I’m just not sure that a majority of you will see it.

Mustangs football sports information director Eric Burdick tells me that you can receive that broadcast here on the Central Coast if you subscribe to one of Charter’s special digital packages or on DIRECTV.

Now, I don’t know what channel’s they’re on. I don’t know if they’ll be showing the games at any local establishments, but the best way to figure out if you’ll be able to see it is to decipher whether or not your TV gets Fox College Sports Atlantic or call your favorite establishment to see if it gets the station.

But really, TV is overrated when you have your friendly neighborhood beat writer Tweeting from the press box. Check out my Twitter account during the game HERE.

I agree. Who needs TV when you have Josh Scroggin, trusty Tribune reporter, instead??

Channel 401 on Charter and 617 on Direct TV.
