Most golfers ruthlessly extinguish emotional displays on the course. Players who wear their hearts on their sleeves often have to battle their inner dialog as well as the external challenges of the course. The stoic tradition makes golf one of the most difficult sports to come up with an original picture.

Eric Burdick was ready when the moment came during the 12th annual Al Lape Morro Bay Junior Golf Tournament.

I can empathize with Jeremy, however so many of my shots go awry it I am more likely to have this reaction if a shot goes straight. Some golfers are so superstitious they won’t even say the word shank. (A shank is a wildly mis-hit ball.)

In other news, Michael Jordan scored 41 points for the Bulls but lost to the Lakers 110-103. I’d keep an eye on Chicago, they look like they could go places.
