This week a little different format, the photo is a bit of a mental scavenger hunt. Can you name this building?

Hints, it is a noteable San Luis Obispo county adobe, this image is from 1967. If you have been downtown you have probably walked by it.

Of course, that is the home of attorney Walter Murray who printed the first edition of the San Luis Obispo Tribune—then, four pages—on August 7, 1869. Only the left portion of the home at 747 Monterey Street remains, and it stands across from the mission in the plaza. The right side of the home is now replaced by a scenic trellis which provides cover and shade over a bench area where Mission Plaza visitors may rest.
