Hogeboom named state player of the week in volleyball

Arroyo Grande volleyball setter Alaina Hogeboom was named the MaxPreps/American Volleyball Coaches Associations “Sports Player of the Week” from California. Hogeboom, a sophomore, recorded 269 assists, averaging 11.2 assists per game, as well as seven aces, between Sept. 3 and Sept. 9. A.G. has a record of 10-3 in volleyball this season. –Nick Wilson
