Someone called 911 three times and hung up. When dispatchers called back, a woman told them a 6-year-old had called because her mother would not dye her hair.

A woman who had a child with her was switching tags on meat in Albertson’s. The business accepted payment for the items and she was served a no-trespass letter.

Slow getaway

Two men left Denny’s without paying for their meal. The men were detained near the movie theater by restaurant employees.

Law-abiding citizen

An officer said there was someone riding bicycle on Highway 101 between San Ramon Road and Vineyard Drive. The CHP said it was legal, since there was no alternate route.

A man was loitering near the Dumpsters near the old Wendy’s restaurant, yelling at nothing. Officers said he checked out OK, but was advised to move along.

A man and woman were seen having sex on the street. They then got into a vehicle and were about to leave. An officer found the pair and counseled them.

Shocked into silence

A woman said she saw her vehicle being driven away earlier that morning, but was too shocked to call and report it until now.

9:13 a.m. Sunday | 1100 block of Nanette Lane | Check the welfare

Ailing pooch

Yelling was heard coming from a residence, and someone said “he can barely stand up.” It was unknown if someone needed help. Officers arrived and found that the family’s dog had had a seizure.

Can’t be tardy

A man was sleeping in a car in the parking lot at Cuesta College. Officers talked with the man, who said his car had broken down and he had classes in the morning, so he was trying to get some sleep. He said he would get his car fixed in the morning.

Barking mad

A woman said her neighbor was squirting her dog with a garden hose, and when she went outside, he squirted her too. Officers talked with both residents, and found that the main issue was the woman’s dogs were continually barking and neither were happy with the way Animal Services dealt with the issue.

Illegal dumping

Someone dumped a duffle bag in the alley and ran off. There was nothing of value in the bag, only a blanket and a dog license. Officers were able to contact the person responsible for the bag and he was warned not to dump in other people’s Dumpsters.

A woman said her significant other took her car without her permission and did not return it. Officers spoke with both the woman and her partner, who were having relationship problems. The husband was apparently trying to upset his wife by saying the vehicle had been towed. It was in the parking lot.

A resident said a man knocked on her window and was in her backyard, asking her where the sober house was.

Move ‘em out

A swarm of bees was gathering on the sidewalk, and looked to be making a hive on the side of the building. A bee collectors was contacted, and said he had three other swarms to collect and would get it around sunset.

No shirt, no service

Two men and a woman wearing only a bra and pants kept walking in and out of Denny’s, using the restroom. Officers arrested the 30-year-old woman on a warrant, and one of her male companions was arrested for having narcotics for sale.

She still cares

A man said his former girlfriend followed him to the Lake Park and asked him why he wasn’t where he should be.

4:10 p.m. Monday | 3200 block of San Fernando | Civil problem

Slow repairs

A resident said he dropped his vehicle off in Templeton for repairs, and had not seen it for more than a year. The resident said the mechanic, who had since moved to SLO, would not return his calls.

4:42 a.m. Tuesday | 9400 block of Calle Milano | Noise

Cool noises

A resident said there was noise coming from outside the residence. It was determined an air conditioning unit was responsible for the noise.

Suspiciously curious

Someone reported that a man in his 40s, who had glasses around his neck, was picking up an unknown object and looking at it repeatedly. Officers checked the area, but were unable to find anyone.

12:33 a.m. Friday | 5505 El Camino Real | Grand theft

Maybe just a tad disorganized

A resident reported a theft from her residence. Taken were two clippers, prescription medication and a TV remote control. Value was $920. The woman later called back to say she found the clippers at her home.

Buzz off

A large swarm of bees was in the roadway. The County Ag Department was contacted. A representative said the bees should dissipate.

A resident said his neighbor was cutting his trees and throwing the trimmings in his yard.

When teens attack

Some kids sprayed Silly String on some other kids who were inside A Heart’s Desire. The kids who were sprayed were still inside the bridal and tuxedo business and were able to identify the suspects.

From North Korea?

A resident said their elderly mother heard a crash in the backyard at 2:30 p.m., but did not know what had caused it. When the resident arrived, they found a homemade rocket had gone through her shed.

Cat trapped

Someone was seen in front of a house on their knees with a shovel and a flashlight. Officers contacted the person, whose cat was trapped under the crawl space.
