A man was walking up the street carrying a rifle. Officers talked with the man, and then booked the rifle for safekeeping. He was also advised about trespassing laws.

A woman said her son was stuck in a seat belt in a Lexus SUV parked next to 7-11. Officers contacted the juvenile and removed him from the seat belt.

Unusual sound
A resident reported hearing six to seven shots fired north of his residence within the past two to three minutes. Another person nearby also reported hearing gunshots. Officers were unable to locate the source of the sound, but said it was possibly thunder.
