Odd calls to Paso Robles police, Dec. 18-24

7:51 a.m. Sunday | 1200 block of Lana Street | Suspicious circumstances

Who’s there?

A resident said someone outside his house had been trying to get in the front door for 15 minutes. The someone was described as a short male, wearing a blue shirt and black shorts and he had a green blanket over his head. Officers arrived and found a child. The child was turned over to a parent.

A man and woman were yelling at the City Park. The pair later settled down. The woman said she did not like the way the man was asking her if she needed help.

12:01 p.m. Wednesday | 160 Niblick Road | Code enforcement

Just say no

An anonymous caller told police dispatchers that someone was selling flags in the Staples parking lot. The caller wanted to report that the person was selling “legalize marijuana” flags. Officers checked and said the flag seller was fine, as he had a permit.
