A man reportedly jumped in front of a church bus near the La Quinta Inn. Officers talked with the man, who said he did not jump in front of any vehicles and did not want to harm himself.

A man came into the police department to say his ex-wife was supposed to maintain their children’s $250,000 inheritance until they are 25, but he found out she had spent all the money.

A woman came into the service center at Walmart with front-end and tire damage to her vehicle. She could not say what she hit or where, but she appeared to be under the influence. Officers said she checked out OK.

A woman said she was walking to her car near Ross when a man appraoched her and asked her to come to his vehicle and assist him. The woman said did not see what the man was driving or
where he parked, but left the area and called police.

A man was lying partially in the road. When an officer talked to him, the man said he was down on his luck and asked where the local pawn shop was. The man was wearing a gray suit, beret and glasses. He was later seen sprawled out near Riverside Avenue.
9:52 a.m. Saturday | 700 block of North Trigo | Theft
A resident reported the theft of a jogging stroller. She said it may be across the street, as the people there were having a garage sale and she could see an item turned upside down that
had similar wheels. The stroller was worth $500.
12:59 p.m. Saturday | Union Road | Traffic hazard
Three to four Ford Mustangs were seen racing back and forth on Union Road. Officers contacted the drivers, who admitted to driving faster. But said it was to dry their cars after washing them.
11:42 p.m. Saturday | 1000 block of Little Quail Place | Suspicious circumstances
A resident said someone came into his garage and turned off the circuit breaker to the residence. According to the babysitter, all the lights went off and then the person rang the doorbell. When the dog barked, the person sped away in a vehicle.
